On July 28 th 1980 Laura Lucchini decided to open a hand-made neckties manufacturing laboratory, and in order to differentiate this idea, she chose as base/station a village situated among the hills of Romagna, far away from the famous dressmaker's places (fashion-house) sited in Milan or Naples.
This choice falls on Sarsina, a village where time has stopped, where machines never arrived, where everything is still hand-made, where the importance of quality is absolute priority since ever.

Laura Lucchini loved hand-made product and always taught this philosophy: “our neckties must be exclusive” she always said.
She directly selected six women and taught them how to cut, sew, manufacture a necktie. These six women will ever be grateful and will keep on making ties in her remembrance, like each tie were the first one made up on 1980.

After Mrs Lucchini decease on 1997, the colleagues decided to continue the manufacturing business just by changing the name of the company.
In that way REGAL CRAVATTA was born.
The same six people, the same way of working, the same thoughts, the same passion, the same time.

Thanks to the product and thanks to people commercially qualified and high-quality lover, today our neckties are sold in the best shops throughout the world, producing up to 12.000 – 15.000 chunks a year, all hand-made and most of them personalized.
As a result of the passion for this work and this product, nothing has changed since 1980 and nothing will change in the future. |
