“The real handicraft is made of hands in motion for many hours with scissors, pins, needles, cottons, chalks and above all with passion; without passion no excellent product could exist”.

In order to obtain a perfect necktie, each single stage is determinant.
First we cut by hand with scissors and sew the lining; after that we make the tailoring according to the requested shape.
Then we sew the tie using three needles.
The first one is used for the “spine“ : this spot was recovered from an old necktie of 19 th Century and represent the backbone of the tie; that is a particular stitching system that makes the tie stretchy and sliding, the determining factor for hand-made product (no machine has been invented yet for such a work).
With the second needle we cut off the tie and with the third we fix the passing and the label.
